long has April been doing this kind of work?

2) Where
are readings held?
Los Angeles California for in-person readings or
anywhere in the world via speaker phone.
3) How
much does it cost for a reading?
Currently, for telephone readings, $200 per hour
for telephone sessions. Note: April Crawford is now also offering half hour telephone sessions, which are
$100.
In-person readings are by special arrangement only
and are only offered if an individual or group books an entire evening or afternoon. An entire evening or afternoon
in the Los Angeles area is $1,000.

experience, you may wish to follow along at the telvision series website www.MindCodes.com. Just keep in mind that all readings including group sessions are highly individual.
The MindCodes group sessions have a particular flavor as directed by the host and Executive Producer of the show. But,
there are many flavors depening upon who attends and their particular areas of interest.

for groups, or for clients wishing to book multiple work sessions or classes.
4) How
does a reading usually work?
There is an experienced facilitator with April
to conduct the reading. After the introductions are made, April becomes quiet for a moment until a Teaching Entity or
Spirit Guide comes through and speaks. During the reading, you are talking directly to the Spirit Guide or other entity,
not to April, who is not there.
We are very experienced at this process and the
readings are easy and comfortable even for first time clients. Just like talking to a good friend. In addition
to being informative, the sessions can be quite social and uplifting in nature.
5) What
topics can be discussed?
Any topic that is on your mind.
6) Is
a reading via April like John Edward?
No, it is completely different. With April
Crawford you are having a direct two-way conversation with a highly developed teaching entity or spirit guide as opposed
to talking to a medium who is relaying information back and forth.
Also, John Edward (who we think is great!) deals
primarily with life after death contact while readings with the teaching entities can be much more broad in nature.

for some mediums that we know personally and can recommend.)
April and John are different kinds of mediums,
both highly effective, but in different ways. April is a Full Body Deep Trance Open Channel where John Edwards and similar
mediums are what we refer to as "relay mediums". The two experiences can both be very enlightening but they are also
very different in format and content.
For example, when talking with an entity via April Crawford,
people often ask for perspectives on personal and business relationships as well as personal growth, metaphysics, and spiritual
growth types of questions. Relay mediums often do not take any questions and there is never a direct two-way conversation.
If you are familiar with Jane Roberts and the entity
Seth, or Ester Hicks and the entity Abraham, or Edgar Cayce, it is more like that via April, except for the fact that April
is an "Open" channel, which means she can and does allow many different beings to speak, walk around the room, use body language
and look you in the eyes.
However, for first time clients it will usually
be one of two teaching entities that we have known and worked with for a long time.
7) How
is a reading through a trance channel like April Crawford different than a reading by a psychic?
Readings via a trance channel different than with
a psychic in many ways. They are direct conversations and do not focus on psychic demonstrations as much as they
focus on a rather amazing perspective of how things work, including the things in your life that you wish to understand.
Although the teaching entities are very psychic,
they generally do not perform "psychic tricks" or "parlor games" upon request, but instead seem to allow such things to be
part of the session in very subtle, but undeniable ways.
One main difference is that because talking
with a spirit guide or teaching entity through a deep trance channel like April Crawford is a direct connection and therefore
a direct conversation, you address your comments and questions to the guides in first person, using their names,
not April's. That is because you are actually talking with them and they with you.
8) We
notice that you use the words "medium" and "channel". What is the difference between the two?
It depends upon what country you are in and what
time period you relate to most.
We use the terms somewhat interchangeably.
For us the word "mediumship" connotes more of a feeling of talking with someone who was recently physical and who is now crossed
over, where channeling often refers to talking with spirit guides and teaching entities. However, when April Crawford
connects with those who are "dead", she often allows them to speak directly, and this is more channeling (in USA terms) than
mediumship as most people think of it (again in the USA. In the UK, for example, they often use the word "medium" and
not "channel", and describe various kinds of mediums, e.g., "mental mediums", "relay mediums", "physical mediums", etc.)
Becuase of the popularity and success of
relay mediums such as John Edward and James Van Praagh, many people think of mediums in those terms, which are very different
than speaking directly to non-physical beings via a deep trance channel such as April Crawford.
"Channeling" to us connotes more of talking with
Spirit Guides, Teaching Entities, and other types of non-physical beings. But ultimately, it is the direct connection...the
first person experience... rather than the "relay" connection and the third person perspective that is the difference
in our terms.
Also, there are various degrees of channels from
fully conscious channels and relay channels to light trace channels to full body deep trance channels such as April.
Deep trance, by its very nature, allows for the least amount of "coloring" or distortion by the channel and his or her own
belief systems and is therefore the most clear and interactive communication possible.
In the case of April Crawford, she is able to allow
both spirit guides and those who have crossed over to speak, all while April is "out".
However, when the teaching entities refer to April,
they refer to her in third person either as "April" or "the Channel". In my memory, they have never referred to April
as "the medium".

9) Why
do many mediums and psychics say "for entertainment purposes only"?

10) We notice that
sometimes you use the term "Roles in Essence". What does that mean?
Sometimes
the entities speaking via April Crawford may use certain vocabulary first delivered by the entity "Michael" in several
books in the "Messages from Michael" series, particularly when addressing relationship issues.
We do not represent contact
with Michael, and April Crawford is not a so-called "Michael Channel". However, some of the highly evolved
teaching entities that we interact with are capable of using this vocabulary, and in fact because it is so effecient to use
have directed us to use it in many of our own personal conversations with them.
Love life questions are always helped
by an understanding of essence relationships as are strategic business questions and other personal relationships. The
"Michael" terms for these essences are very good and we have decided not to "reinvent" the wheel by changing a perfectly good
vocabulary.
